Well with all the love & excitment I can say that I am proud, happy, elated, over-joyed and blessed to announce that ......

I am thankful & tickled turquoise, yellow, lavendar

and any other color besides pink to have a little girl!

We are blessed and thank God for this wonderful miracle!!!

Super excited!!

Preggo Buzz!

20 Weeks!

Wow...I'm seriously half way there and it feels insane!

Tomorrow is the "BIG DAY"...we find out what the gender of this wonderful baby is!

My appointment isnt until 4pm, so I will be waiting ALL DAY! 

It's just the best time because CJ will be out of school and my husband and I will be off of work!!

So the anticipation begins....

How far along: 20 weeks & 1 day

How am I feeling: I actually feel outstanding! I have been working out again, about 3 or 4 days a week. It's been about 3 weeks now that I've been going steady! So happy about that. Today I started back at my "circuit weight training cardio class" (mouthful I know) LOL. I was doing this class 4 days a week for about 6 weeks before I found out I was pregnant & LOVED it. It is such a hard class, but u feel the difference every week. I asked my doctor if I could continue the class while preggo & he said it should be fine, just to modify when necessary. The first 2 weeks of my pregnancy I tried to stick it out in this class, but I could NOT make it all the way through class without feeling nauceous. So I stopped going.

 I kept walking on my own at the park near the house, so I wouldn't be completely out of shape. So it feels great to go back & pretty hilarious to see all the ladies looking at me like...WOW she is really in here pregnant dancing, kicking, squatting & doing kettle balls. I love it! :)

How is CJ doing: CJ is still doing wonderful! He is SO excited to see the baby tomorrow afternoon! He swears there is a little brother in there. So I guess we will see.

How's is Daddy: He is the same. He says he is ready for this ultrasound to confirm what he already knows....that this baby is a boy...lol. He said the same thing with my son, so who knows.

Maternity Clothes: Still rockin the Bella Band!

Weight Gain: Idk at the moment. I will know tomorrow once I go to the doctor. I don't trust this scale at home anymore. It keeps saying I haven't gained much weight. When I feel like I've gained 10 lbs.

Food aversions: Nope! Still good. Just don't mess with queso!

Cravings: Anything sweet, I fight the urge for candy by eating strawberries for now. I don't know how much longer that will last. We're going to Savannah this weekend to visit my in-laws & sweets are on my mind!

Gender: Tomorrow afternoon!!! Can't wait!!

Nursery Progress: Same answer...We are still looking for our house, we havent fallen in love with one yet. I dont want to rush, just because of our little one coming. I want to be happy in the end.

Best moment this week: It will be tomorrow when we find out the gender & CJ sees his sibling for the first time with his daddy & I!!

What I am looking forward to: Feeling the baby move more consistently. I sometimes feel the baby but its faint, IDK...makes me feel fat though, like I cant feel the baby because of the layer of fat outside of my uterus is too thick *rolls eyes*

Pregnancy Update: 18 weeks & 4 days

Hello All!

Yes I've been ghost...as usual...I appreciate everyone who still worries or

 inquires about "lil ol me",  I appreciate your love!

I do manage to check on all of you and your blogs when I have some free time on my hands at work. You all still bring so many smiles to my face

Anywho... 

 

PREGGO UPDATE

How far along: 18 weeks & 4 days

How am I feeling: All I know is I am not sick anymore, thank the LORD!!! It eased up last week and I have NOTHING this week. Almost makes me cry with joy! My only "complaint" if you want to call it that...is my back! By the end of my work day I need a hot bath a heating pad and a massage! It literally hurts to walk by 8:30 at night. I plan to buy a brace that I saw on BabyBellyKelli YouTube video.

How is CJ doing: CJ is doing great! He is super excited! He gives hugs & kisses to the baby. He asks questions about when the baby comes,  like can he teach the baby how to play his favorite games and tell the baby what to do. I think he is going to be a great big brother! Once we get past the "not getting everything you want when you want it" & "sharing mama & daddy's bed" thing.We will be good to go!

How's is Daddy: He is the same as usual, have a couple of moments where he acknowledges the belly with a little rub or a few words to his child. He isnt a big emotional person, so he doesnt really treat me to different. He isn't a super cautious husband...He isn't the worry wart...he doesn't think about what I pick up, how I bend over, if I reach to high or how much energy I use. I think I have to big, unstable, wobbly and miserable for him to turn into that husband. Im used to it...I only get jealous of other "worrisome husbands when I'm having a VERY bad day". Which hasnt been too often thankfully.

Maternity Clothes: I bought the BellaBand from Target & it helps me wear my regular pants to work everyday! I did NOT want to spend $35 dollars a pop to purchase dress pants. I have to wear dress pants everyday to work so this band is necessary as long as this butt & thighs fit in the pants!!

Weight Gain: 4 lbs. So the scale says...but I dont see how that is possible. I feel like I've gained 10 lbs.

Food aversions: Nope! So far so good.

Cravings: I dont have contant cravings, mine are random. I will just feel like I have to have french fries or watermelon & until I get it. I keep thinking about it.

Gender: August 28th!! Cant wait!!

Nursery Progress: We are still looking for our house, we havent fallen in love with one yet. I dont want to rush, just because of our little one coming. I want to be happy in the end.

Best moment this week: I started back working out & yes I was incredibly sore. But I will say the next morning I was able to walk with just a little bit of limping and wobbling! Great moment for me, because it let me know I wasnt as out of shape as I thought. I will resume my running & work out classes regularly from this point forward (crosses fingers)....

What I am looking forward to: Finding out our baby's gender!

1. When and why did you begin blogging? To be honest IDK...it hasnt been a year and I came across blogs through YouTube videos

3.  What is your favorite type of music? Soul music...from Adele, Etta James and Carrie Underwood to Katy Perry ,Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and Pink. Just something that hits my soul and speaks to me.

4. Where is your favorite place to shop? Belk & Forever 21 when I can get to one

5.  Where is the most amazing place you've vacationed ? I absolutely LOVE Disney World!! Nothing compares to the Magic Kingdom no matter how old I get.

6.  What's your favorite movie?  One movie?? Seriously?? I can't, I'm sorry! There is no way! The Jungle Book, Pretty Woman, GREASE, West side Story, Enough, Shooter, Taken...I could go on and on...seriously I love movies!

8. What's your most embarrassing moment?  How FUGLY I looked the day I had my son, I didn't even realize I looked like death (literally the Grim Reaper) when everyone was taking pictures. Best day of my life. Most embarrassing pictures.

 

9.  What do you love most about your life? The fact that God allows me to wake up everyday and be a mother to my son

10. What is your biggest fear? Someone/Something hurting and/or hindering my children & there is nothing I can do to stop or control it

11.  What's your favorite thing to cook ? I love to cook Tilapia & Salmon

I'm alive / Pregnancy Update

Yes...I'm still alive...

I'm very aware that I fell off the face of the earth for the last few weeks...

I apologize.

I can honestly say that I have been sick as a dog, lazy as heck and dealing with a family death.

My family is recovering well...I'm just starting to feel a little bit better and am back at work!

Summer break was amazing, but time to get the school year rolling...

CJ is having a fabulous summer break! He went to Texas to stay with my family for 6 weeks!!

Now he is traveling with my in-laws to a resort in Ft. Lauderdale

...he is a spoiled little something!

I have pictures coming soon but right now Im lucky to even be blogging.

 Im so exhausted, praying this second semester gives me a boost...I really do apologize...

Pregnancy Update

How far along: 14 weeks & 2 days

How am I feeling: Sick & exhausted...plain & simple.

How is CJ doing: I believe CJ half way forgets until I tell him not to jump on mommy because he is gonna hurt his baby. Then he resorts to rubbing my stomach and talking to his "twin brother & sister" in baby talk. Yes he wants twins & has names for them already. Even though I have explained countless times there is one baby & we dont know whether it's a girl or a boy. Im sure it will make more sense to him once I start really showing!

Maternity Clothes: I have been wearing dresses the entire summer break, but since starting back to work my regular pants just arent working anymore. So I have bought 1 pair of work maternity pants from Target. I cannot find my old maternity clothes from my son...but I havent tried looking that hard either...Think Im going to buy a bella band from Target today after work. Hopefully it will last me until at least 6 or 7 months?? Maybe...maybe not!

Movement: No...I "imagine" I do at night, while Im laying wide awake due to random insomnia

Food cravings: Chicken Nuggets....I know weird right? Also turkey sandwiches, who knows??

Food aversions: Frosted Flakes and anything that taste like queso (depressing I know). Just praying the nausea will go away, I think I make myself throw up sometimes because it kills me to just stay nauseous.

Gender: I dont know, but wish I did....kinda

Symptoms: Nausea. Headaches. Smells that make me gag, even when I just think about the smell. Indegestion. Random constipation.

Nursery Progress: LOL not even though about...trying to get a new house asap though!!

Best moment this week: The few hours I can get through without any bad feelings or preggo pains.

What I am looking forward to: Not being sick, not being nauseous...going through one whole day just feeling pregnant in a GOOD way!!

Sorry no pictures this time...I honestly DISLIKE my computer and how slow it is and how LONG it takes to upload and edit all my pics. Laziness...I know, sorry again.

Also I want to say thanks to all my blog friends that gave me CONGRATS on my pregnancy during my absence. A super CONGRATS to my blog friends that have delivered during my absence, especially Heather...her daughter is beautiful!!  

And to all my friends that are still TTCing...
I'm still praying for you all & you are NOT forgotten I promise!

Ugghh the Irritation...

So this is going to officially be my first of many"pregnancy rant"....

& its been irritating the life out of me for about a week now.

Naturally I've stalked a lot of pregnancy & TTC sites and

I've seen "tickers" on almost ALL of them, including different blogs I follow regularly.

 I just never took the time to create one because well there was nothing to countdown to.

But since I am newly pregnant I wanted to find an adorable tickers to add to my blog and begin my journey. I went to my few different places and got stuck at the step at almost every sight.

You know the part where you select your background.

Whether it be cute babies feet, an adorable baby, mama's belly with a clock by

 it or if non of those appeal to you a stork, pea in a pod or something like that.

 Well I loved the cute baby feet but.....there was no choice selection for a tan colored baby...
not Hispanic, Chinese, Indian, black or even a mixed child.....

Hmmmm so I looked at the bellies....but there was no choice for any type of tan or brown belly either....

My feelings began to be a little hurt.
I mean I know...who cares...whatever, just keep it moving
yeah maybe pre-preggo but right now it irritates me.

These sights that I loved so dearly began to feel a little different to me.
Do they not recognize that brown skinned, tan or dark skinned humans have babies too?

I mean I love ALL races and Im not this huge black & white person or anything.
Trust me I am a mixture of just about everything you could name. LOL

But it's the principle.
 It just offended me a bit.
Soooooo I wrote to each and every one of those websites about their
LACK of colors and skin tones in choices for tickers.

Even if nothing changes and no one care, I know I spoke my mind and that made me feel better.

I will acknowledge that LilyPie.com has a plethora of choices for tickers
with MANY MANY shades & colors. Which is where I got my tickers!

As well as TheBump.com, very cute tickers with a
substantial amount of choices for different woman or men.

I'm sure there are many sites out there that have these options,
 I was just shocked at the ones I followed regularly
that didn't have an option besides a stork or some flowers.

Well I'm done with my complaining now. Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day! & thank you to all those troops and their families for the sacrifices they make everyday!
