Anyways...back to Valentine's Day....

I'm going to make this quick and simple....it was lovely and I appreciate everything that my husband did for me. I seriously enjoyed it and know he would say the same. I look forward to enjoying Valentine's Day together for the rest of our lives. Sorry I'm not giving all the juicy details...Here are the pictures, hope you enjoy....

My Tulips from Valentine's Day

We went to one of our favorite restaurants here in town "TEXAS STAR"...I like it for the obvious reason!

My son is the LIGHT of my life & he is just as important on Valentine's Day as my husband.
CJ momma loves you more than words could ever express! *muah*
Hope you all enjoyed your day as much as me!

Weekend Love/ TTC Update

Weekends are what we look forward to in our family! My husband and I both work in the school system so when Friday rolls around, we know there is NO WORK for at least 2 days! Whoo-hoo! So this Friday CJ, Chris and I went to the local high school basketball games at the Civic Center. The first game was pretty boring because they were getting blown out, so we spent that time having a mini photo shoot!

CJ likes to take pictures with my cell phone so that is what he was doing.

Me & my love Chris...Im using up picnik.com's editing features while I still can. They are closing down and moving on to Google +...by the way can anyone fill me in on what the heck Google+ is exactly??? Thanks....

Saturday we slept in and enjoyed not having to wake up at 5:30am. I swear even though I'm used to waking very early, it's still torture & it's like heaven when I get to sleep until 8:00am.We relaxed Saturday, let CJ take a few pics (with his kiddie digital CARS camera we got on sale during black Friday), took the cars to get washed and let our lil man ride his scooter.

So happy he didnt have to get up at 5:30am lol

This was a nice relaxing, laid back weekend and I'm thankful because every weekend after this for a while will be busy and hectic.

Now on to TTC business....on to cycle #13 I am officially on CD#5. I have absolutely no symptoms besides sore breast. Which has officially been going on for like forever now. This cycle I will be using Pre-seed, attempting to check my cervix, checking CM, using an OPK and I plan to BBT. I bought a thermometer and I've actually had it since CD#2. My only problem is I cannot remember to temp before I roll out of bed!! I'm mean I've tried everything to try to make myself remember and I still get up and go on with my morning. Any suggestions?? I have to try to seriously remember to do this because I believe its so important! I need advice!? Other than that I'm trying to stay positive and not lose my mind. Hopefully there wont be a cycle #14. Starting this blog has really helped and I love reading the blogs that I've subscribed to because I know that I'm not alone.

Well guess that's it for now. I will hopefully post later in the week.
 Have a great week!

Our Love Story-The Jones'

          OUR LOVE STORY

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? We have been together since 2006

2. How did you meet?  I transferred from Texas State University (Texas) to Albany State (in Georgia) on a track scholarship. I was finishing up school and my husband had just graduated and was pursuing his master's. He was the only person I knew in the entire state when I moved. He showed me around, introduced me to a lot of people, so I spent a lot of time with him. He even invited me to his home for Thanksgiving when I decided not to fly back home to Texas . (So sweet) We became great friends...and we've been together ever since.

3. If married, how long have you been married?
It will be 5 years in November

4. If you are married, where did you get married at? We went to the court house, just the two of us and the judge. We're planning to have our dream wedding/renewal ceremony soon.

5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? We both call each other honey, babe, and/or baby

6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey.
1.)He loves our family & works hard for us
2.)He is a strong, ambitious & intelligent
3.)and of course he is sexy & all mine!

7. Tell us how he proposed? On Valentine's Day, in a bath tub with my favorite R&B group playing, candles and I was blind-folded. Thought it was all just apart of his V-day surprise. Until he took it off and I realized the song "Let's get married" was playing and saw the ring. It was great.

8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberrieschampagne, and rose petals? Actually all of the above

9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch? Depends on how I'm feeling. I can do either one.

10. Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. I want to take a trip to China or London

11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day. Don't know yet to be honest. probably just dinner. I know that weekend we are going to Tampa to take CJ to Busch Gardens Theme Park

12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day? A baby lol, no I'm not that into Valentine's Day anymore

13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love. NEVER GIVE UP & always show how much you love them...ALWAYS

14.  Show us a picture of what LOVE means to you.

OLD Post

SO THIS IS AN OLD POST FROM MY OTHER BLOG...IM GETTING READY TO DELETE THAT BLOG AND JUST KEEP THIS ONE BUT I LOVE THIS BLOG & DIDNT WANT TO LOSE IT! SO IM ADDING IT HERE, HOPE YOU ENJOY. ITS FROM MY SON'S BDAY THIS PAST DEC!!

Post from Dec. 3rd, 2011

So yesterday (Dec 3rd) was my son's 4th Birthday!! His name is Chris Jr. aka CJ aka "my baby"!! I cannot believe how fast time goes by. I love my son more than anything in life & I thank God for him everyday. Greatest blessing EVER! So originally my husband (Chris Sr.) & I had planned to take our son to Chuckie Cheese. Chris hates the Chuckie Cheese here in the small city we live in, so he made other plans. That morning we got up, CJ ate his usual 'Honey Nut Cheerios' and a cup of milk.We all got dressed and headed to Colombus,Georgia! When we arrived we were at "The HOLLYWOOD CONNECTION"!!

First thing we did was eat!! They had a 50's style diner inside. Food was pretty good. My lil man & I had BBQ wings and daddy had a philly cheese steak sandwich. CJ LOVES chicken!! lol

Next we went skating. The skating rink was awesome, it had strobe lights and a DJ. It was too dark & we as a family tried to focus on not falling too hard, so I didnt get many pics. Here are two pictures I took during the skate time. CJ had a ball. He absolutely CANNOT skate, but had so much fun falling, laughing and trying to dance to Usher on skates! lol

Next we let our lil man play putt putt. He loves golf, think he wants to play like his Papa.
It was a really nice indoor golf course!

Lastly we took CJ to the "Ritz" movie theater they had inside Hollywood Connection.
We went to see Happy Feet 2. Before we went into the theater,
we took a family picture in front of the fab Hollywood sign they had.

After we left the Hollywood Connection, hubs took us to a restaurant called Smokey Bones. It was great, 10 huge flat screens for us to watch the LSU game on & still celebrate lil man's birthday!
Everyone was really nice...
they gave CJ a complimentary cake & everyone signed a card wishing him a
Happy 4th birthday!
 Love this place!

We drove back home & opened gifts! Then I had to get ready for work!
We had so much fun & CJ loved all of his gifts!
I once again thank God for blessing me with my lil man.
He is the reason I eat, sleep and breath!
All in all this b-day was a success!
 Til next time...

Love,
Nicole

LIFE & DPO 8

So this past weekend I took my baby to Chuckie Cheese! :)

He loves it! There isn't alot to do here in this city, but we make it work!! He absolutely loves pizza & loves to play all the games. I think he thinks the coins grow on trees tho lol...Its all good. lol

***WARNING THIS IS A RANDOM "INSPIRATIONAL" RANT
(skip down to DPO 8 if not interested sorry)***

So lately Ive been thinking alot lately about LIFe....what is  LIFE really suppose to be about? Guess it depends on who you ask right? Some people would say that life is ALL about your "family"... Others would say that its all about "living your life to the fullest"....
Honestly, I say life is what YOU make it. (& for me personally its what God & I make it)
These days I hear alot of people talk about what they dont have, dont like or wish they would or wouldn't have done.  We ALL need to count our blessings and be thankful for what we do have. We need to remember it could always be worse. Like my grandma says, "If your alive and breathing, your better off than some people". And as far as regrets and wishing you did something different or things were different....Well your in the now and thats what you have to work with. So you have to move forward knowing that you are making your life what you want it. I know that its 10 times easier said then done, but Im living that reality right now. Ive gone through having the negative attitudes...stressing over what could have been or what really did happen. Its all genuinely a waste of energy, life, time and brain cells I could be using to think of my next move to make myself, my family and living life in general better. My goal from this point forward is to just have a better attitude...even when it seems so bad, so stressful or I feel like I cant take anymore. I will try to have a much better attitude. I will always try to stay as positive. I pray for each and every person that has this problem and hope that my positive vibes will rub off on you. No matter what the situation is. It will be ok, because you will make sure of it!  Im all about positivity right now clearly!

DPO 8
Ok now DPO 8...um so I think my left breast is sore/tender. Actually Im sure, its just not  an overwhelming amount of pain. Trying to figure out how to word this without sounding like a perv lol. I was feeling my breast for any soreness and bam I felt it. It's"sore" directly under my breast going toward my arm pit and Im only a B cup so its not a whole lot to inspect. So my question to you all, is DPO 8 to early to feel something like that? I mean it could be because Ive been working out more lately. (For those that dont know, I started a boot camp program and Im in week 3...dying 3 times a week lol. I ran track in college so Im not afraid of hard work or working out, but my body is so different since I had my first child. Just hurts a little more.) So anywho on top of the ONE sore breast, I have an increase in CM and its a lotion like texture most of the time (creamy) and sometimes just wet. So if you guys know if this is a good sign, let me know! Im gonna do some research as well. Still so thankful for your blogs & advice!
