TTC #2 Rant/Questions

Let's update you all on the TTC #2 Journey of mine....
Im not a jealous person by any means BUT I an seriously jealous of Michelle Duggar right about now *rolls eyes*...I am currently fighting with AF as we speak, she has managed to "ruin my life" (such a figure of speech huh) AGAIN this month. I am trying my best to not be stressed out about not being preggo yet. But it is actually starting to hurt my feelings that these eggs of mine arent hollering at the hot sperm when they roll through! It's just really different trying this time, compared to accidentally getting pregnant. You want it so much more, you worry yourself to death, checking for sore breast, twinges in your tummy, ovary pain, metallic tastes in your mouth! Oh and God forbid you have a dream during the two week wait. It's just frustrating and extremely exhausting....
Although we have been "trying" by not preventing since Jan of 2011....we have only been "trying" in true TTC style i.e. charting, OPK's, BBT,learning all the lingo, checking all the websites since Jan of 2012. The thing I believe would help the most is so hard to do, which is temp. I absolutely can't remember to do it. Any tips/suggestions? I tried to set my alarm on my phone & downloaded an app that I could just type it into. STILL AINT WORKIN BOO! I also use an OPK but I hate the lines, so hard to get a for sure answer! WHats the best opk to use in your opinion? Anyways on to the next....

If any of you read my page & have any advice or tips, webistes I dont know about, products, whatever! IPlease help, I am trying to stay calm but its becoming overwhelming and stressful! If ONE more DAMN person says "Oh your son is 4 already *pause* wow...when we are going to have another child?", Im gonna freakin flip! Rude much...Were trying people! So please say your prayers and send some baby dust our way! Thanks in advance & baby dust to whoever is trying as well!

Til Next Time...

[UPDATE: Since I wrote this last week and I'm just now posting it. I have since bought the OPK pack that gives you a smiley face, hopefully this is more clear for me! (20 tests)
Please let me know any advice about anything TTC that you may be able to offer! Thanks!]

*Few of my favorite things....*

So lets go over the fibs Ive managed to tell a few blogs back and lets just scratch ALL of that....

So with that said, my blog will have a schedule now too!
Mondays- will be called "Marvelous Monday" -I will recap my weekend and although most of us CAN NOT STAND Monday. I will identify a positively marvelous on moment
Wednesdays- will be called "What's changing for you Wednesday"? This blog will be about what's changing for me, what I notice in the media, world and or in my personal life. It's my whats up day!
Fridays- will be called "Favorite Friday". I will name at least 5 things that are my FAVORITE right now items, products or buys! From kid items, mom/wifey items, makeup, beauty, clothes, shoes, etc.
Sundays- I will update you on everything TTC related! My journey, struggles, feelings, procedures and hopefully one day soon...my BFP!
Soooooooo....
My blog WILL NOT be on a schedule because I despise making promises I cannot keep! Let me be perfectly honest, I can barely keep up with my "real life" schedule let alone a blog schedule! So my blogs will still use some of the same ideas I fibbed about, but they wont be scheduled because I dont want to have to face the guilt of missing a post! SO with that said.

It's time for "A Few of My FAVORITE Things!!
AKA Friday Favorites, seeing how I wrote this on Friday and did not post it...I will just change up the name for today! There are a few things Im loving right now...things my family or I use pretty much everyday at the moment! Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions!

1. My Reebox run tone shoes

I dont use these to run in because I can only run in asics or muzino tennis shoes. Running track & field for so many years spoiled my feet and they dont entertain running in any other shoes! But these Reebox are so comfortable to wear at work and to CJ's tball game or when we go on outdoor family outtings. To be honest I didnt think they were that cute. I needed some comfy shoes to wear to the moutains that werent expensive. Caught them on sell & I actually really like them.

                                                  2. African Black Soap

This stuff is awesome. My mother in law bought some of this for both of us from a stand at the Annual Wingfest. I love it. I have very combination oily acne prone skin and this is starting to help SO much. My skin isnt dry but it feels clean and soft. I use it in the shower and in the morning.

3. Innotab- (CJ's Tablet)Thank the Lord that they created this wonderful tablet for small children. I have a tablet and CJ was trying to take it over EVERY day...so for his birthday my husband researched kids tablets. This one had the best review. CJ loves it. he plays educational games by Dora, CARS, Scooby-Doo, and Spongebob. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES it. We went on ebay and bought the backpack case, car charger and protective case.
This mama gives a thumbs up!

4. Avon Bath Oil Spray
My MIL sales Avon and she gave us some of this spray. With CJ playing tball and taking swimming, here in Georgia the nats are crazy. I have been spray him down from head to toe before games and practices. The nats have been leaving him alone! It goes well over sunscreen and moisturizes the skin! Love it!

                                          5. Gelish
SO the nail salon that I go to started to do the "gelish" nails about 6 months ago. I decided to try because I love natural nails and very much dislike how bad "gel" and acrylic nails damage your natural nail. This new "gelish polish" is AMAZING!! My nails are strong and beautiful if I may say so myself! I love em and even though people may think they are pricey, its worth it to me. I can get colors, french or american! The best & healthiest invention for nails yet!

I have so many posts that I just need to finish! Sorry...

Marvelous Monday...ehhh Tuesday! Sorry!

So I guess I'm going to spend most of my time apologizing, since I just cant seem to get right when it comes to blogging on my "schedule"! I really do love blogging, I just have a hard time managing my "free" time. I either want to sleep, clean, cook, work, workout, worry myself to death about getting preggo again or spend quality time with my lil man and husband. Guess you guys will just get used to me and my random, yet structured posts! Thanks for your patience on this rollercoaster ride with me....

[Below: CJ has become addicted to Netflix on the computer, they even have LEAPSTER so he LOVES it!]
So for this MARVELOUS MONDAY ehhhhh TUESDAY  *wink*...
I had another great weekend with the hubs & our kiddo! We took CJ to Kolomoki Mounds Historic Park.   They have a old ancient Indian mounds that were built years ago, paddle boats, a museum and minature golf.

[Below: CJ on top of a mound with daddy]

[Below: CJ & daddy on the trip down the tallest mound]

[Below: The family on top of the highest mound, CJ ridiculous smile]

It was a great day and our little family enjoyed it! We tried to get a family photo by the waterfall...it was a fail but with a little editing still ended up sort of cute!

Later that evening we took CJ to Lake Loretta to feed the ducks! He loves it! & I love the water...when I was pregnant with him I used to walk around the Lake to get a workout in. It's simply beautiful.

This is one of my favorite pictures....
the sunset....CJ...its just priceless....its like a deep breath of fresh air....
makes me try to enjoy life more!!

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A HAPPY EASTER, I KNOW WE DID!

Happy Marvelous Monday...

OR NOT...so keeping my word of Monday, Wednesday, Friday posts. I am posting my "Marvelous Monday" moment of this past week.I apologize I didn't start last week but it was a week of NO WORRIES! My husband and I both work in the school system where I live and this past week was our Spring Break! Thank you Lord for Spring Break! LOL, sadly it is Monday and this is our last day of Spring break, back to work we go tomorrow. I am so dreading it but had such a blast.
The break actually gave me time to not stress on TTC #2.

So my  "MARVELOUS MOMENT" of this past week would have to be the trip to the mountains my husband and I took with 3 other couples. It was in a beautiful HUGE cabin, gorgeous skies and a few experiences that my husband and I have never had before. I LOVED IT!

[Below is a picture of our "home" for the last 4 days]

We traveled up to Ellijay, Georgia and I honestly wasn't so sure about this trip. I only truly knew one couple and the others I "knew of" but we weren't actually friends. I also had no idea how we were going to have fun. I'm just such a "city girl" I guess I wasn't sure there would be anything that would interest me. Honestly I was just happy to get out of the little city we're in now, I would have gone anywhere.

[The hubs & I being daredevils in front of the waterfall]
*PLEASE EXCUSE THE NO MAKEUP NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT LOOK*

I wouldn't say "to my surprise", but more like thankfully I  LOVED the other couples
& am SO thankful that we met all of them. I also LOVED every single thing that we did on the trip.

We went kayaking, zip lined, hiked up to a waterfall, danced to music, had girl talk in the Jacuzzi, played taboo, gestures and drank the heck out of some Margaritas & Bud-light platinums{my fav}. Since I was the only experienced bartender they had me making drinks most of the night, but I couldn't have asked for a better time with better people!

[The whole crew right before Kayaking]

We had a blast & there are tons of pictures but none really capture how much fun we all had together.
I would recommend Ellijay, Georgia to any of you that want
to have a wonderful Mountain get-a-way in Georgia!
